Very handy at getting the inside of my shoes dry and prevent them from stinking like wet dog, however it doesn't really dry the outside (especially the top parts where you put your feet in). So I found my shoes not being completely dry, but it has definitely sped up the process. Overall I am happy I got it cause it has stopped my house smelling like wet shoes
I purchased this product after not being able to cope with the smell of my son's rugby boots! I purchased a new pair of boots and have been religiously using this to dry them each time he uses his boots. So far it seems to be doing a great job - no more smell of cat pee!!
As someone who loves the outdoors in all weathers this thing is great. I'd put off buying one as they historically were quite expensive but for less than £30 this is spot on and a game changer. I ride bikes in the mud, ski, winter climb and fell run, and even the wettest boots are dry within a couple of hours. More often than not it's less than an hour. A mate got one first and recommended it and I've been using it for 2-3 years now, and it's still going strong. It's obviously cheaply made so there'll be an element of luck in potentially getting a bad one like with most things, but The Amazing Mart 's backup with this sort of thing is great and if it lasts the first few months there's a good chance it'll last a lot longer.
I take the dog out on some epic treks and regularly walk through small streams, deep mud and in the rain so these have become invaluable. Also pop my trainers on them after a run. No more smelly footwear and they've stopped me buying cans of shoe deodorant. Highly recommended.
This is a brilliant little gadget for so far and hopefully it lasts!I bought this shoe/boot dryer as a practical Christmas pressie for my husband as he runs marathons and with the drab weather we currently have his trainers are often soaking when he gets home from a long run.We also have a dog and his walking boots aren't fully waterproof (should just wear wellies like me!) So I thought it would be a really great practical gift for him as a resolution to these issues.I think he thought I was mental at first but needless to say he's used it 5 times in the last week and is genuinely impressed.As such I think it's fair to say it was a good buy and I would definitely recommend it if you want a way to dry your shoes relatively quickly and what seems to be pretty cost effective too!
